The Secluded Restaurant In Texas That Looks Straight Out Of A Storybook
Texas is no stranger to amazing restaurants. From world-class steakhouses to down-home family kitchens, you’re never far from a great place to chow down no matter where you are in Texas. Eden East in Austin is an enchanting eatery where the food is fresh and the scenery is magical. It almost looks like it came straight out of a storybook!
Eden East is a farm-to-table experience where you'll enjoy a fixed menu that changes monthly based on what's in season. An a la carte breakfast is served on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Since the menu depends on what's available from local farms and ranches, you're guaranteed the freshest, most vibrant ingredients - that usually means the tastiest, as well!
You'll dine at community tables underneath the arms of a majestic Elm tree. There's a BYOB policy, so what better night to crack open that special bottle you've been saving? Corks, chillers, glasses, and flutes are provided at no charge.
It's difficult to talk about the food too much since there's a fixed menu, but it's usually something like this: a meat (braised beef here), a starch (sorghum), and tons of fresh veggies (squash, sweet potato greens, eggplant, and herbs.) Everything tastes like it came straight from a farm...oh wait, it did!
Most of the produce comes from Springdale Farm, a 5-acre piece of land located just three miles from the Capitol. It isn't just corporate - anyone can buy fresh fruits and veggies from the farm!
Although the chickens aren't for sale, it is nice to be able to see where your eggs and some of your meat comes from! Definitely better than being holed up in a cage.
I can't picture a more magical night than dining underneath the twinkling lights while sharing laughs and making memories with those closest to you. Book Eden East for your next reception or private party!
