Located at Circuit of the Americas, Peppermint Parkway is Austin's best drive-thru Christmas light spectacular. This epic event is the premiere holiday lights in Texas show!
It's hard not to love such huge displays of holiday cheer.
The attraction features a one-mile drive that transports visitors into a whimsical winter wonderland. Nearly a dozen different themed areas, ranging from a Gingerbread Village to an Enchanted Forest, provide a fully immersive experience.
Our favorite is the Twinkle Tunnel and the Wonder Woods. But they're all amazing!
When all is said and done, you'll have cruised through millions of lights aglow with holiday cheer. This includes a 60-foot-tall tree that even the Grinch couldn't help but marvel at.
And don't forget the Cota carting and the zipline, too! Texas at Christmas never looked so good.
Larger-than-life symbols of the holiday season like hot cocoa mugs are sure to drop your frozen jaw. Drive-thru concession stands offer real cocoa, as well as other festive treats.
St. Nick himself is part of the grand finale, which boasts a brilliant light show that perfectly captures the spirit of Christmas. You just might even catch a glimpse of his trusty reindeer pulling the sleigh!
There's no end to the fun at the Peppermint Parkway at Christmas time in Texas.
Don't forget to snap a photo with the Parkway's official mascots, Pepper and Mint! They're here on a very special mission: to make sure Santa receives all the letters from children on the Nice List.
The holiday lights show starts just after Thanksgiving and runs all the way through the end of December. There's plenty of time to get your holiday spirit on!
Make sure to hit the Peppermint Plaza, will be open on the same nights as the Parkway, with attractions like a holiday market, games, train rides, sweets and treats, and meet-and-greets with Pepper and Mint. Other activities include a light-up archway and amusement park rides!
This truly is the best family holiday fun. You could easily spend hours of fun here enjoying everything there is to do at the Peppermint Parkway!
Tickets range from $35-$90 depending on which package you choose—the more expensive options include a lap around the only Formula 1 racetrack in America! Visit the Peppermint Parkway website or Facebook page to learn more.
