The Jungle-Like Area Of Texas That You Have To Experience For Yourself
Considering our state is nearly 900 miles across, an incredible amount of ecological diversity is to be expected. That being said, most people don’t know we have a park that resembles a lush, tropical jungle. Palmetto State Park in Gonzales lets you escape into paradise without leaving Texas.
You’ll find Palmetto State Park at 78 Park Rd. 11 S, Gonzales, TX 78629. Click here for a printable map of all the trails.
Have you ever been to this jungle-like natural area? Are there any other places in Texas with plants or wildlife unique to that specific region? We love this park with birds you won’t see anywhere else in the world.
