Camp Out At This Hidden Texas Waterpark For An Unforgettable Summertime Adventure
Summer is only a month away, which means it’s time to start planning your family getaways. Chadillac’s Backyard Waterpark is the newest splash pad in Texas, a hidden paradise not far from Houston. It’s affordable, family-friendly, and deserving of a spot on your bucket list. Check it out:
Hiding just an hour outside of Houston is Chadillac's Backyard Waterpark, a family-friendly tropical oasis with a pristine pool akin to the exotic Caribbean waters. Come hang out and swim, slide, tube, play games, grill some BBQ, and even spend the night.
A two-story party deck features picnic tables and even a slide on the top level. Nothing quite compares to the exhilaration of defying gravity - if only for a brief moment - while you soar through the air.
This 50-foot tall slide is almost like a ski ramp, catapulting you through the air and leaving plenty of time to assume cannonball formation. Compete to see who can make the biggest splash!
After successfully turning your skin into a shriveled prune by spending all day in the water, regain your land legs with some beach volleyball. Several other outdoor games like washers and horseshoes offer a multitude of activities guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained all day long.
Tent camping is $10 a person, while trailers are $20 + $5 for each occupant. No utility hookups are available; however, guests can enjoy portable toilets and pole showers.
Address: 16038 Crowley Road, Conroe, TX 77306. Hours are 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (for non-campers only).
For more information, visit the waterpark’s
website or Facebook page.
