The East Texas State Fair doesn’t take place until late September, but you can enjoy all the delicious food this week. From 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. through Sunday, June 7, a drive-thru along Fair Park Drive near Rose Stadium will offer concession stand favorites like jumbo corn dogs and funnel cakes in a contactless fashion. Hope you’re hungry!
To help support the event industry through a summer full of canceled bookings, the East Texas State Fair has arranged a drive-thru featuring all your favorite concession stand goodies.
Among the items available are loaded nachos, waffle fries, tater tots, and several other fair food staples. Just look at the beautiful golden sheen on those fried-to-perfection jumbo corn dogs.
We can't forget about dessert! Funnel cakes, both regular and double-decker, are just the indulgence your sweet tooth craves. Other options include Wonderstick ice cream, fresh-squeezed lemonade, iced tea, and more.
Food stands will be set up along Fair Park Drive near Rose Stadium for visitors to drive up and place their orders. The grounds will be outfitted with hand sanitizing stations and staff to enforce social distancing guidelines, and workers will be required to wear masks and gloves at all times.
