If so, you're in luck. Chicago Hot Dogs is one of San Antonio's newest restaurants, and it's filling a void we didn't even know existed.

Having opened in late 2020 as a food truck, the now brick-and-mortar eatery slings traditional Chicago-style hot dogs with all the obligatory toppings.

One bite and your taste buds will be whisked away on a cross-country road trip without ever leaving the Lone Star State.

Despite the name of the restaurant, Chi-Town dogs actually aren't the only thing on the menu.

You can get yours with chili, cheese, or both - but the signature poppyseed bun remains.

There's also a "San Antonio Dog" featuring Mexican-style guiso, or a mixture of tomatoes, onion, and bacon.

It's a winning combo, and you'll definitely be back for more.

A variety of sandwiches and burgers are also available if hot dogs aren't your cup of tea.

From Italian beef on French bread to a hunger-blasting triple cheeseburger, there's something for everyone.

You'll also see an array of sides, including chili cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, and these "pizza puffs."

An original Chicago Hot Dogs creation, the pizza puffs consist of cheese, tomato sauce, and sausage stuffed inside a pizza dough pocket and deep-fried.
