10 Things People In Texas Did Before The Internet Took Over Our Lives
Can you remember a time when our days weren’t bombarded with dings and rings from our smartphones, binge-watching shows on Netflix, and gluing our eyes to screens for the majority of our day? Yeah, I have to say, I have a hard time remembering a time without modern technology, too. I wanted to take you on a walk down memory lane and hopefully encourage you to put your phone, iPad, or laptop away for a little while, and do some of these things we all used to enjoy before the Internet happened.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
