There’s A Bacon Festival Happening In Texas And It’s As Amazing As It Sounds
We love all kinds of meat here in Texas, but bacon has to be one of our favorite types. There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of crackling grease – especially when the crispy deliciousness is accompanied by fluffy scrambled eggs and flaky buttermilk biscuits.
Our love for bacon runs so deep that we have an entire festival dedicated to it. It isn’t until the end of October, but tickets are already on sale and going fast! With delicious food and drinks and live entertainment, it’s a fun, food-filled day you won’t soon forget.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Have you ever been to Bacon Bash? Are there any other food-themed festivals in Texas?
For all you bacon lovers out there, we also have an entire restaurant dedicated to it here in the Lone Star State. Read all about it here.
