Mainly because they deserve it. Alleia is an upscale restaurant located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and it evokes the dark romanticism and dimly lit beauty of of mid-twentieth century dates. Alleia opened in 2009, and has since become a pinnacle of local design and rustic Italian eating. Their menu is full of handmade pastas, Neapolitan pizzas and other Italian classics.
Alleia is a beautiful restaurant, but did you know that their chef is one of the most recognized in the Southeast? That's right, chef Daniel Lindley has been nominated for the James Beard Award 6 times since 2009.
Not only is the food just like what you'd find in Italy, the decor and building are also designed to capture the warmth of the Italian countryside. The space is even decorated with 300-year-old wood.
