In the last couple of years, Nashville has blossomed from a southern town with quite a few characters, to a solid foodie scene and hipster haven. Thankfully, that means the rest of the world has the chance to enjoy our fantastic cuisine – and not all southern. We promise. Check out the best restaurants in Nashville and see if your favorite spot made the list!

This eclectic burger eatery has something on the menu for everyone, and is located on the wildly popular 12 South strip. Try the Marathon Burger - meat-free and oh so good!

What neighborhood is Sinema in...? Well, it kind of lies between a couple of them, but the uber cool ambience and adulting-vibe will get us out no matter the night.

A solid spot for drinks and some high calorie yums, Whiskey Kitchen is a classy spot with a wood-toned interior that sets us at ease.

Upscale ladies brunch, anyone? Then Josephine is the place for you. The darling spot is luxurious in the most delicate way possible, and we're in love with their brunch!

Bonuts are killer - a mash-up between biscuits and donuts, and the rest of the city knows it too. Get here early if you want to miss the line!

I mean, how could you not? Hattie B's has come to be the face of Nashville's hot chicken culture, and it's where you'll find the most tourists gulping down water.

There are two locations, but the 12 South spot has trivia on Monday nights and we REALLY like that. BBQ nachos are best paired with weird questions that make us feel smart. Bring your friends!

If the quirky sayings out front aren't enough to get you here, the margaritas sure are! Careful, though - they aren't stingy with the tequila. And we like it!

Gorgeous, old-school southern charm and a farm-to-table base? There's really no reason NOT to go, unless you're looking for something without class. You will find class here, in spades.

Quirky, classy and vibin' with that whole industrical-chic trend, R+D is an expensive date night that will leave you in love with Nashville's culinary prowess. Will you be here on the weekly? No. Could you finally propose to your girlfriend here? Awww yeah.

This darling little eatery is usually crawling with students, since it proffers a solid coffee menu. If you're looking to stay and read awhile after your green chile macaroni and cheese or lamb burger, this is the place for you. Plus? The local latte is prime.

With tacos at $3 a pop, Mas Tacots wins when it comes to ease on the mind AND the wallet. We love it, you'll love it - plus? You can grab drinks at Holland House across the street afterwards!

Burgers the size of your head, sweet potato fries from heaven, and delicious beer on tap is enough to get anyone's boyfriend out on a weeknight. There are no reservations, but then again - we have no reservations, either. It's an iconic Nashville burger, y'all!

The clean cut and simple euro brunch feel is a gorgeous and extremely filling way to enjoy your Saturday morning. Be sure to get here early though - it's great food, and EVERYONE knows it. Get there a solid bit before they open at nine to join the queue.

The new restaurant is for the solid carnivore that hides within us all. A great bar, awesome entrees, and macaroni and cheese that boasts CHORIZO seriously gets us every time. Plus, the decor is fabulous for a date night or a simple girls night out.
