The Charming Nashville Diner That Will Take You Back in Time
If you’re a fan of southern food, chances are you’ve heard of Cracker Barrel at one point or another. That being said: have you heard of their break into the fast-casual restaurant market? Holler and Dash just opened in Nashville, and the new, quirky and millennial focused chain serves up delicious southern fare in a pleasing, Instagram-worthy aesthetic. Care to take a look?

Holler and Dash is a quickly growing chain that focuses on what is arguably the eighth wonder of the world: the biscuit sandwich.

This fast-casual restaurant is actually a brand owned and operated by Cracker Barrel. They bring their good country cooking expertise to the menu while refreshing the look to appeal more to the millennial generation.

The menu includes staples like the "Chicken Holler" (consisting of fried chicken, pickles, and cheddar all on a biscuit) but also branches out in to wilder territory with dishes like the "Chicken. Set. Go." (chicken, pimento cheese, jalepenos, and sorghum all on a biscuit).

H&D serves up cold-brew coffee and even beer and mimosas for anyone looking to supplement their breakfast. The coffee is from famed Portland-based roaster Stumptown.

While the restaurant currently only has two locations (Brentwood and Nashville) in Tennessee so far, it's reasonable to expect there may be more coming our way since the Cracker Barrel headquarters are in Middle Tennessee. Keep your fingers crossed, people!

One of the coolest things about Holler and Dash is that they source their ingredients locally. You know that every time you go in you'll be getting the freshest, best-quality food.

What are you waiting for? Go get your biscuits! They're open from 7 am - 2 pm at all locations. The Brentwood location is at 203 Franklin Rd Suite 120, and the Nashville location is at 2407 8th Ave. S. Suite 105.
