Radnor Lake is located just outside of Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee, and has quickly become one of the most popular spots to hike in the area. Locals have claimed it for years, but as of late multiple sites have touted its gorgeous span of natural beauty and tourists have made their way up the service road to its tiny parking lot. Radnor Lake is technically located in Oak Hill, Tennessee which is a small neighborhood in the Brentwood suburb of Nashville. It sounds confusing, but this gorgeous, rural pocket holds some of the most beautiful autumnal views in the area.

Radnor Lake was made a natural area in 1973, and it was the first of its kind in the state of Tennessee. The lake was originally created and maintained in 1914 by the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company.

The lake loop runs at about two miles the whole way around the lake, but there are actually five miles of trails that criss-cross the natural area. It's great for young families and folks of all ages for its easy trek and lack of intense inclines.

If you're bringing kids, you may want to pop into the Walter Criley Visitor Center. It's a great place for little ones, mainly for their interactive exhibits and educational events.
