Before Opryland Hotel & Resort was around, before Opry Mills, the land was actually taken by Opryland USA – a Nashville, Tennessee amusement park that was once the gem of Music City. Operational from 1972 to 1997, the park was known as the “Home of American Music.” There were quite a few hot rides and musical shows, all hinging on the edge of Tennessee’s historic love – music.

We were scouring the internet for a bit of what we once loved, and guess what? We found it. Opryland USA in 1988. We’re going to go cry crocodile tears of nostalgia, now….


Did you ever make a visit during the golden years…? We’re honestly in shock we’ll never be able to visit again.
