Back in the year 2000, a construction crew made a very interesting discovery in Gray.

What started as a simple construction project turned out very differently from the original plans. When the first fossils were dug up, the crew knew they'd unearthed an archeologist's dream. Fast forward to today and scientists are still digging out fossilized creatures. The museum now sits on an active dig site.
The museum part of the property will take you through the history of the dig site where lots of cool skeletons are on display.

Upstairs you will even get a glimpse into the life of a paleontologist. Watch as they clean off the dirt and piece together these ancient beasts.
