This Restaurant In Tennessee Doesn’t Look Like Much – But The Food Is Amazing

Granny Fishes' House is located in Wartrace, Tennessee, and it's one of the sweetest places you can grab a meal in the state. It sure doesn't look like much, just a darling little house tucked away in the south, but we're blown away with the local commendations and the kind folk that serve up meals, just beyond that front door. If you're looking for a solid meal, you don't have to look any further - we're absolutely in love and headed to Wartrace!

Granny Fishes' House is where you come if you're looking for kind service, quick eats that taste like home and the kindest servers this side of the Mississippi. Really - if you ask anyone, it's the waiters and waitresses as well as the fresh seafood that keeps folks coming back.

The rustic decor and rural setting make this dinner space not only perfect for a great meal, but an atmospheric experience. Everything is down home and dang good and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Here you can see the whole of their menu, boasting everything from freshly fried catfish to fried mushrooms and Hawaiian punch. You can't beat a solid meal, folks.

And take a look at that fried catfish - what IS that dream?! Locals rave about the great cooking, and we don't doubt them - this is a classic, southern seafood meal to a T.

You can get the chicken or a sandwich...but the question is: why?! This here is a kids plate, and that's enough food to take us through lunch and dinner.

Feel free to visit for yourself at 340 Shippmans Creek Road, in Wartrace. Hours are as follows: Thursday and Friday, 5-9pm and Saturday from 11am-9pm.
