The Adventures On The Gorge Resort in West Virginia Will Absolutely Blow Your Mind

When you think of vacation, most people think of the beach or something tropical. But here in West Virginia, we think adventure!

Adventures on the Gorge, which is located in Lansing, West Virginia, has PLENTY of activities for the whole family.

Adventures include: white-water rafting, zip lining, the Bridge Walk, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, and so much more!

Adventures on the Gorge has plenty of camp-grounds to pitch a tent in!

But you'll find me in one of the beautiful cabins! I may be a born and raised West Virginian, but you won't catch me roughing it. Who doesn't love a good cabin, anyways?

The Canyon Falls Swimming Pool is one of those pools that you see on the front of a magazine!

Isn't this just stunning? You can see everything because you are right on the rim of the New River Gorge.

When it comes to kayaking, you can choose either a calm lake or the New River, which will get you into some rapids!

The last time I went, I ended up flipping my kayak!

White-water rafting at the Adventures on the Gorge is the experience of a lifetime!

At Adventures on the Gorge, there are two rivers to choose from to white-water raft on. The Gauley River and the New River.

The Gauley River is one of the more intense white-water rafting rivers in West Virginia.

Some parts of the Gauley River require some experience, while other times it is suggested but isn't required.

Personally, I'd rather have some experience than let my butt get kicked by this river!

They have zip lining for beginners, experienced, and the advanced! You'd see me at the kiddy-level zip-line!

The Gravity zip line is an open-air zip line that is 200 feet above the ground, and is 1.5 miles long!
