Here’s The Story Behind The File Cabinet Sculpture In Vermont

The artist, Bren Alvarez, built this statue in 2002 in response to construction delays in the Burlington, Vermont area. This dramatic art installation is about 40 feet tall. The artist created this piece by welding the file cabinets together.

As indicated in this photo, there are 11 cabinets that make up this massive piece of work.
