Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort is home to Caboose Village, where there are approximately a dozen train cars that have been converted into beautiful places to stay the night. One of these is a 1970s Union Pacific Caboose and it certainly is not going to leave you disappointed.

This caboose ran along the Southern Pacific Railroad for several years until it retired. Unfortunately, it caught fire in the train yard in the 1990s, but since then, much work has been done to bring this train car back to life.

This caboose is the perfect couple’s getaway location or a solo trip destination. There is one bed in the train car and it comfortably sleeps two guests.
