Cozy Up Inside A Cabin For An Unforgettable Weekend Away At Robbers Cave State Park In Oklahoma

Robbers Cave State Park and Lake Murray offer unique cabin experiences with various outdoor activities in Oklahoma.

The temperatures are falling and with a snowfall already recorded this year in Oklahoma...winter is officially here. That doesn’t mean, however, that you cannot still enjoy some of Oklahoma's beautiful state parks. Robbers Cave State Park offers some of the coziest log cabins anywhere in the Sooner State. Plus, there is a variety of outdoor recreation to keep you busy all weekend long. Check out these cozy cabins below, then be sure to book one before they are all booked up for the season.

The park is named Robbers Cave because the outlaw Jesse James and others are said to have hidden out in these caves more than a hundred years ago.

Robbers Cave cabins are a perfect way to escape the busyness of everyday life and find some peace and tranquility in the beauty of nature.

A total of 26 non-smoking cabins are available with scenic views of Robbers Cave State Park. They are very affordable and can accommodate large or small groups.

The cabins were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1930s and offer modern amenities (electricity, running water, etc.)

The rustic interior is cozy, homey, and invites you to relax and stay awhile.

Roasting marshmallows around the campfire is a great way to make long-lasting memories.

Another great way to experience the park is in a Jeep off-roading. The trails here are miles long and are loads of fun. Or, you can hike on one of several trails...there are even ones that will take you to above-ground caves.
