Ghosts Named Anna And Jack Roam The Halls At Olde Main Street Inn, A Haunted Nebraska Hotel

Inside the quaint, historic walls of Chadron's Olde Main Street Inn linger two spectral guests. Jack and Anna are friendly apparitions that are known to play pranks on staff members and guests. The Olde Main Street Inn was built in 1890.

This incredible place has had many lives over its long history, but today it stands as a charming bed and breakfast.

Jeanne Gotzinger, the hotel owner, has reported several spooky sights.

Step inside the retro dining area and you may just catch a glimpse of something otherworldly. Could it be Jack and Anna?

The owner saw something truly bizarre on St. Patrick's Day 1992.

When the hotel owner went to pour a pint of beer, the drink was mysteriously green! She didn't plan on putting green coloring into the beverages for the holiday, so she went back to the keg to check and see what the issue was. After pouring two more green beers, the next drink came out completely clear. She thinks pranksters Jack and Anna were at work.

That's not the only funny thing the two apparitions have done.

Apparently, Jack and Anna love bringing up the color green. After doing a little research, the hotel owner learned that the hotel used to have green and gold wallpaper. Maybe the two spirits longed for the good 'ol days.

Guests have reported hearing footsteps down the hall, even when no one is there.

Even though this may sound scary, Gotzinger insists that they are good-willed spirits. People say they come here to look after the place.

Once, the ghosts blew the front door wide open without notice.

There's no doubt about it -- these ghostly friends get a kick out of spooking the hotel guests.
