The park is divided into a mainland and an island portion. The island portion is awe-inspiring, with nearly 3,000 acres of salt marsh, 30 miles of water trails, and beautiful beaches to explore. Not to mention the abundance of wildlife that call the island home.

The mainland portion of the state park is where you'll find opportunities for camping. Campers can choose from 103 campsites and rental cabins.

Each of the campsites features a camping pad, fire ring, and lantern post. And 50 of the sites are equipped with electrical hook-ups.

Looking for something a bit more rugged? There are primitive backcountry campsites featuring tent platforms and boat landings.
