With nearly 400 miles of coastline, Louisiana’s Gulf beaches are one of the state’s biggest hidden gems. Sure, they may not have the crystal clear blue water that you’ll find on the Gulf Shores coast, but Louisiana’s beaches are special in their own way. There’s one particular beach down in the Cajun Riveria that’s so awesome, you can camp right on the beach. Let's take a look closer look at what you can expect from Holly Beach camping.
Holly Beach is one of Louisiana's most beautiful Gulf Coast beaches.
You'll feel like you're a million miles away from it all.
There aren't any major cities around, so you pretty much are miles away from everything!
One of the biggest perks about Holly Beach is that you can drive right on it!
Yep! How cool is that? No more lugging your gear for what seems like miles through a long and endless parking lot.
Not only can you drive on the beach, but camping is allowed, too!
If you've never camped on a beach before, you're in for a real treat.
While we wouldn't recommend this adventure in the middle of summer, the beach is open for camping year-round.
Holly Beach is also a paradise for finding seashells.
You'll find so many along the shores!
After a full day of splashing around and long beach walks for seashells, come back to your campsite and enjoy a beachside campfire.
With views like this, you'll find it hard to leave.
We wouldn't blame you!
