The Georgia Airbnb With a Next-Level Hot Tub That Redefines Cozy Season

This charming cabin in Georgia offers million-dollar views, plenty of privacy, and a hot tub you'll never want to leave.

Winter is my favorite time of year to travel. I know summer gets all the glory and those beaches stay crowded all summer long, but I truly love the quiet of winter travel. Not only are there fewer crowds, but the bugs are at bay, and you can typically find cheaper places to stay. Staying in a mountainside cabin with views for days and the sounds of a crackling fire is my soul’s happy place, which is why this winter getaway in Georgia is one of my favorites. If this sounds like absolute heaven, then you need to check out this cabin in Blue Ridge.

Welcome to Chasing Fireflies, a charming cabin in Blue Ridge, which is one of the best places to stay for a winter getaway in Georgia. With two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the cabin can accommodate up to six guests, making it the perfect winter retreat for families or groups of friends.

Both bedrooms feature king-sized beds. The primary bedroom’s bathroom has both a large, walk-in shower plus a beautiful soaking tub. I love the large windows that allow you non-stop mountain views from just about every room in the house.

The cabin sits on the edge of a mountainside and offers some of the best views in Georgia. For travelers looking to get away from it all, you won’t find a better place than this secluded cabin. Despite its remote feel, it’s only three miles from Downtown Blue Ridge. Listed as one of the South’s best Mountain Towns in 2021 by Southern Living Magazine, there are plenty of things to do in Blue Ridge in the winter to fill up a weekend itinerary.

I wouldn’t blame you if you never left the cabin during your stay—the views alone would make me not want to leave! The kitchen has everything you need for cooking up whatever your heart desires, and there are plenty of dining areas to enjoy your meal without missing out on those beautiful views.

The downstairs area is where you’ll find plenty of entertainment, including a fireplace, multiple games, a television, a ping pong table, and the hot tub.

The downstairs deck is sure to be everyone’s favorite spot. The views from the hot tub are one in a million, and you’ll have a front row seat to some stellar sunrises and sunsets.

One of my favorite things to do during these winter cabin getaways with stunning views is stargazing. You’re far away from the light pollution from larger cities, and you can really see so many more stars in the sky when you’re in spots like this. Of course, nothing beats a fireside chat with your loved ones while roasting marshmallows. See? Winter has its perks!
