We're pretty lucky to live in a state which has wonderful camping opportunities all year long. But if you're like many of us, summertime is the perfect time to camp. Sure, it can be pretty hot during the summer to set up shop in a tent, but once you see this campsite, you won't care what temperature it is. Take a look...
Just ten miles south of Melbourne Beach, Florida, you’ll find one of the most beautiful state parks around.
Sebastian Inlet State Park is a one-of-a-kind camping opportunity where visitors can set up shop right along the edge of the beach.
Sebastian Inlet offers primitive camping spots for visitors in order to set up shop right by the Bayside Marina.
The sites are walk in/carry in with some sites that can accommodate a vehicle for drive up and drop off.
There are other campgrounds, too, in Sebastian Inlet State Park which allows for RVs, with electrical hookups, fire rings, and a picnic table.
The primitive spots, however, allow for a more secluded experience, especially when the ocean is mere steps away.
For adventurers who are looking for a little bit of camping oceanside, this is the place to be.
The turquoise water is just a stone’s throw away, which means that you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shore.
Spending the weekend at this spectacular campsite opens the door for tons of summertime fun, from surfing the rolling waves…
…to casting a line from the nearby pier and seeing what you can reel in…
…and spending some time cooling off in the shallow water, beachside.
Campsites with sunsets like this nearly every day? Only in Florida.
