This Perfect Arkansas Vineyard Has Amazing Wine And Even Lets You Spend The Night

Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery in Springdale offers award-winning wines, delicious food, and luxurious lodging.

There’s no better place to kick back with a good glass of wine than Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery. Not only is it celebrated for its delicious wines, but, in recent years, it’s grown to include lodging for overnight guests. That’s right; you can actually spend the night!

Dubbed Northwest Arkansas’ #1 winery, Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery is nestled in a peaceful valley in Springdale.

Sassafras Springs has come a long way since opening in 2014. Initially, it consisted of just 15 acres. Today, it encompasses 60!

A popular destination, roughly 3,000 people visit each year to take advantage of its offerings, including wine tastings.

The wine-tasting room provides the perfect setting to sample Sassafras Springs’ award-winning wines.

Prefer something a bit less structured? No problem! You don’t have to partake in a full-on wine tasting.

You can simply order a glass (or bottle) and enjoy it under the covered patio or on one of the many decks.

The only thing that can make a great wine even better is great food. Luckily, Sassafras Springs has got that, too.

Perfect for a quick bite or a filling meal, the menu features charcuterie and cheese boards, fresh-baked pizzas, crisp salads, and full-course dinners.

One of the best things, though, is that you don’t have to leave – not right away, at least. In 2019, the property grew to include a guest lodge.

Fittingly dubbed the “Lodge,” the stone and cedar abode was inspired by European and American wine resorts and wineries.

It features lots of luxe features, including tons of windows and roomy decks, all of which offer great views of the vineyards.

At 3,000 square feet, the Lodge is pretty big. It sleeps eight, making it perfect for groups and families.
