You Can Rent An Entire Campground In Arizona At Cave Creek Group Site For Just $75 Per Night

Cave Creek Group Site offers a spacious and historic campground in Tonto National Forest, ideal for large groups seeking a peaceful getaway.

Camping can be a major hassle if you have a large group. Between making sure you all get sites next to one another and keeping up with everyone once there, it can be more of a headache than a good time. Luckily, there are several group campgrounds in Arizona where you don't have to worry about any of the logistics. One of them is the Cave Creek Group Site, located north of Cave Creek and Carefree. You can rent the whole site for up to 150 people, and the surroundings are so peaceful and breathtaking.

If you're in search of a campground that can accommodate up to 150 people, look no further than the Cave Creek Group Site.

Located a mere 20 miles north of Cave Creek and Carefree, this spacious campground makes an ideal weekend getaway when you need to escape the city for a little while.

The site is nestled in the lush Tonto National Forest, and juniper and sycamore trees offer plenty of shade.

Combine that with the temperate climate, and you have an oasis fit for a memorable stay.

Since it is a group campground, there are no designated sites. Instead, campers are free to pitch their tent anywhere in the large open area.

The site also backs up against a trailhead that provides access to nearly 50 miles of hiking and biking trails.

Amenities include vault toilets, a trash service, a game area for volleyball and horseshoes, and a campfire area.

Drinking water is not provided, nor are any hookups for RVs. You can bring a trailer, but those longer than 16 feet aren't recommended.

Two large covered pavilions feature 12 picnic tables, three central grills, a covered food prep area, and a serving table.

Many of the structures in the campground were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, so you'll be surrounded by history.

Is there anything better than gathering 'round a campfire with friends and family, roasting hotdogs or making s'mores and sharing laughs?

Actually, we can think of one thing: having an entire campground all to yourself.

Please note: the nightly rate varies based on whether you have under 50 people or 50-150 people in your group. Visit the Recreation.gov website for more information and/or to reserve the campground.
