In Arizona, our summers are relentless with constant reminders that we do, indeed, live in the desert — and there's little to no break from the continuous sunshine and 100-plus-degree temperatures until we start the welcome approach to fall.

As time ticks on during the summer, I find myself longing for cooler days when I can spend more time outdoors, while feeling a cool breeze.
