First Time Camper? This Accessible Campsite in Arizona Will Make You a Camping Convert
Camping is for everyone! If you don't think so, then you haven't tried this campsite in Mohave County. You'll be a camping convert before you know it.
Are you someone who hears other people talking about camping and thinks to yourself, "How can anyone think something like that is fun?" When camping comes up in conversation, maybe all you can think about is bugs, dirt, being dirty, sleeping on the ground, and creepy crawly animals—especially at night! Yet, you may also be curious. It can't be all that bad if so many people love it, right?
If you're camping-curious but aren't quite ready to dive in full-force yet, and also want to avoid all of the things mentioned above, then maybe glamping is for you. And suppose you're looking for a glamping experience in Arizona. In that case, you'll love Cane Beds Corral in Cane Beds, Arizona, near the Utah/Colorado border and just south of Kanab, Utah. It's also not far from Zion National Park, so if you've ever wanted to visit it, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Cane Beds Corral is a family-owned accommodation that is perfect for people like you. It's small, offering only four accommodation options for its guests, meaning you won't be overwhelmed by crowds, which is what every camper wants. Cane Beds Corral has three glamping tents that sleep two guests each, plus a small cabin that sleeps four.
Any of these accommodations will be a great place for your first camping adventure, but we think you'll like the Explorer's Escape Glamping Tent best. Why? Well, first of all, like all tents of this type, it's raised up off the ground, so you won't have to worry so much about bugs, critters, or dirt. Second, it has electricity. Third, it has a comfortable queen bed, plus a portable air conditioner and heater for your comfort. It also offers relaxing seating both indoors and outdoors on the porch.
This is true camping, without being, well, actual camping.
But best of all—and you'll love this—the glamping tent has its own bathroom. Unzip the back of the tent, and you'll find a lovely space with a tub and shower, all outdoors yet totally private. There's no roof, so you can even shower while you gaze at the stars above at night.
There's also a toilet here in a completely enclosed space. This bathroom space is unique, and honestly, it's actually kind of pretty.
The Explorer's Escape Glamping Tent is the only one of Cane Beds Corral's three tents with a bathroom. Other guests use the bath house with two private showers and two private toilets. You are welcome to use these, too, if you'd like.
In addition to a beautiful tent and private bathroom at Cane Beds Corral, there are a few other amenities that you'll love. There are two separate covered grilling areas that you can use for cooking and dining during your stay.
The gas grills are meticulously maintained, and a wide variety of cooking utensils, equipment, and seasonings are available. There's also an outdoor sink. The owners of Cane Beds Corral are also happy to pick up groceries that you've ordered ahead of time online, so everything will be ready to go when you arrive.
You'll also be quite impressed by the custom-built fireplace on the property. It was designed to mimic the red rock cliffs near Cane Beds Corral. It has a gas fire pit and seating for up to ten people. After a long day of exploring the area, it's a wonderful place to sit, relax, and roast marshmallows.
Doesn't the Explorers Escape glamping tent sound lovely? If you're still unsure about it, you might try Cane Beds Corral's Little Rock Cabin. For many people, staying in a cabin still counts as camping, yet you will be more indoors than you would be in a glamping tent.
This accommodation option includes a queen-size bed, a pull-out couch, a television, a kitchenette, and an indoor private bathroom. If you're still unsure whether camping is right for you, this might be the way to go.
No matter which option at Cane Beds Corral you choose, you're sure to have a great time. Imagine enjoying a beautiful sunset from a porch like the one pictured above. Glamping or cabin camping will give you the opportunity to try out camping without getting too down and dirty or rough. It will allow you to avoid bugs, dirt, and critters while still being able to enjoy all the beauty and adventure that nature has to offer.
Plan a visit to Cane Beds Corral soon, and you may fall in love with camping. A place like this is sure to make you a camping convert. Have a great trip!
