One of the most popular hiking trails is the Farmstead Loop Trail.

The park is also a great destination for history enthusiasts. Explorers will find ruins of a 19th-century farming community as well as a restored farmhouse originally built in the 1840s.

The park is situated just a few miles from Harpers Ferry, and some areas have been farmland since the 1700s.
