Ohio is a truly special place to live. From our abundance of state parks and world famous museums to our incredible history and hidden gems, there are plenty of privileges that come with living in Ohio. The following are 9 of our favorite privileges that automatically come with living in the Buckeye State.
1. We're home to the Roller Coaster Capital of the World.
Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio is a world famous attraction for roller coaster fanatics.
2. We essentially have bragging rights for life.
We paved the way for mankind.
3. We gave the world rock n' roll.
Cleveland is the proud home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
4. We can visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame whenever we want.
It's just a short road trip to Canton.
5. We can also escape to the quaint countryside anytime we like.
Ohio has the largest Amish population of any state in the nation. (As of 2000, the Amish population in Ohio was 49,750. Pennsylvania comes in at number 2 with an Amish population of 40,100.)
6. And our rural scenery is unparalleled.
