Just in case you didn’t know, Hancock Shaker Village is an outdoor and indoor museum all about the Shakers and their lives in Western Massachusetts. It’s also a working farm.
This year’s Thanksgiving event is packed with seasonal activities and fun. Guests are invited to explore the trails around the museum and gather pumpkins at the farm’s pumpkin patch.
You’ll also be able to get to know the farm animals and feed the farm’s pigs with fresh pumpkins. For a small extra fee, you can join a foraging workshop that will reward you with yummy treats from nature and fun holiday swag.
Don’t miss the blacksmithing and craft demos, either! Kids and adults alike will love learning about the hobbies and skills of 19th-century locals.
This year’s Thanksgiving at the Farm event will be held on November 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Social distancing measures will be in place. Adult admission is $20 and youth admission is $8 (kids under 17). Children under 12 who are visiting with their family are admitted free!
