Nothing captures the fun of the winter season in Southern California like taking a day trip to the mountains and doing a little sledding at a fun and very exciting snow tubing park. While snow tubing in Southern California might be harder to come by, we have one state park that is about to blow your mind. Here's a closer look at what you'll find when you head to Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park for a fun day in the snow.
Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park is one of SoCal's best winter attractions that just so happens to be the largest and oldest snow tubing park in Southern California.
It is located at 34600 CA-18 in Green Valley Lake, CA, about an hour an a half east of Los Angeles, and 40 minutes northeast of San Bernardino proper.
So what makes a visit here so epic? For starters, you won't find the huge crowds that you'll experience at most other snow tubing parks in SoCal.
Which means more time tubing downhill instead of waiting in line. We love that!
Secondly, the prices here are quite reasonable. Each visitor pays per hour, which usually is more than enough time to get in some fun time on the slopes and enjoy the winter season in Southern California.
You'll find a variety of slopes available for all ages and skills. No matter whether you're a beginner who's new to sledding, or you're intermediate or advanced, you'll find just the right speed here to keep you entertained for hours.
Fun for all generations, this is the type of activity the entire family will enjoy so bring the whole crew along on this winter adventure.
Be prepared for a good workout, as you'll be climbing up the steps each time you head back to the top of the park in order to slide back down. Nothing like burning a few calories while having a day of fun.
In addition to the fun you'll have in the snow, you'll also love being surrounded by towering trees and refreshing mountain air that's incredibly invigorating.
