There is practically nothing that a mountain getaway can’t cure. In fact, a little fresh air, sunshine, and relaxation can do wonders for the mind, body, and soul. Huttopia is a French-style camping resort with destinations around the world. Located in the Angeles National Forest, Paradise Springs is the first Huttopia resort on the West Coast and it truly is paradise. With a natural spring running throughout the property, incredible accommodations, and views that you won’t soon forget, a night under the stars at this spectacular place for glamping in Southern California belongs on your bucket list.
Huttopia Paradise Springs is a destination where you can relax, escape the challenges of life, and even take a step into history.
This camping resort actually dates back to the 1920s when two Hollywood actors built stone cabins, a ballroom, and other facilities for their celebrity friends. Today, this area has been transformed into a place where you can still feel like royalty with its many amenities.
When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted with pure beauty. Paradise Springs is located high in the San Gabriel Mountains, tucked away in a wide canyon, and surrounded by greenery. A beautiful, natural spring runs right through the property, helping to create a serene and tranquil environment.
When you stay at this unique resort in Southern California, you can enjoy the benefits of fresh air and sleeping under the stars, but you don’t have to “rough” it. Huttopia Paradise Springs features a selection of wood-frame and canvas tents that provide the comforts of home and the benefits of nature.
These camping tents vary in size, with the largest boasting up to 350 square feet and comfortably sleeping up to five people. Each tent also features a long list of amenities to ensure your stay is pleasant, comfortable, and pure perfection.
Some of the amenities you will find include electricity, private bathrooms with showers, kitchens, and comfortable mattresses.
This Huttopia Resort offers two picturesque areas of the park where you can choose to stay: Coulter Pine or Red Rock.
Coulter Pine was once the resort for Hollywood stars and is surrounded by old trees. This area is closer to many of the resort’s services and activities. Red Rock is where you can escape into nature. This part of the resort is overlooked by a red rock formation and here, you can enjoy incredible views and dark sky nights. You may even see some wildlife as well.
But no matter where you choose to stay, you can still enjoy all of the many services and activities offered at this resort in Southern California. You can stop by the Huttopia Café and Bistro for everything from a full breakfast in the morning to homemade pizzas and tacos at night.
Of course, you’ll want to bring your swimming suit to Paradise Springs and take a swim in the historic spring-water swimming pool.
This swimming pool dates back to the 1920s when the camp was originally built. It has since been renovated to create a place that is perfect for cooling off and relaxing.
The resort also hosts all types of activities including guided hikes through the San Gabriel Mountains, nature yoga, and movie nights under the stars.
You’ll also find activities like ping pong, foosball, corn hole, board games, and even a book corner. Regardless of your age, it’s impossible to be bored at this resort.
Sleep under the stars, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy some time away from the worries of life at Huttopia Paradise Springs in Southern California. It’s one resort that seems to have it all.
