The Remote Winery In South Dakota That’s Picture Perfect For A Day Trip
We recently wrote about the beautiful little town of Hill City. One of the biggest highlights of this town is Prairie Berry Winery – an award-winning winery that offers some incredible wine and delicious food. Take a look at this gem!

You'll find it at 23837 Highway 385, Hill City.

The winemaker's great-great-grandmother came to America in 1876, and brought her considerable talent for wine-making with her. This knowledge was passed on through generations, and resulted in the award-winning wine you'll taste now.

Numerous awards. Like 944 and counting.

The story goes that Ralph, one of the winery's founders, accidentally added elderberry to a batch of Razzy Rhubarb wine. When he realized his mistake, his face turned red, and said that he felt, "like an ass." But, the wine was really, really good, so the winery kept making it like that.

That's right, FREE. They'll give you up to five samples. If you want to try more, they'll give you another five for just $5.

The flatbread pizza is divine.

The chef creates different desserts every day.
