2. Woolley's Grill and Cellar, Hot Springs
Woolley's Grill and Cellar has some great mountain views and a nice, spacious dining room. Everything on the menu is good, but the melt-in-your-mouth prime rib is the specialty. 1648 US HWY 18, Hot Springs.
3. Double Barrel Steakhouse, Henry
The tiny town of Henry is just west of Watertown, and it serves up steak and prime rib that are so good you'll make the journey again. 106 Main Street, Henry.
4. Cattleman's Club Steakhouse, Pierre
This place opened way back in 1986, and it's still family-owned. Cattleman's Club serves only prime, Black Angus beef, and you'll appreciate the quality the moment you take your first bite. 29608 SD Highway 34, Pierre.
5. Cheyenne Crossing, Lead
Take a scenic drive along the CanAm Highway, and you'll find Cheyenne Crossing. The menu is full of tasty items, but the Navajo Taco is the specialty here, and it's really, really good. 21415 CanAm Highway, Lead.
6. The Landing Restaurant and Lounge, Yankton
The Landing Restaurant and Lounge sits right on the Missouri River, and you'll have great views from the dining room or patio. For fresh, tasty fare, you definitely need to visit this place. 104 Capitol Street, Yankton.

Who says coal isn't coming back? (kōl) has a 10-foot-long, coal-fired oven that reaches 1,200 degrees and produces some delicious pizzas, steaks and other tasty dishes. 504 Mount Rushmore Road, Rapid City.
9. Chef Louie's Steakhouse
Chef Louie's has the kind of atmosphere you'd expect in a much more expensive restaurant. The steaks are juicy and perfectly prepared, and the seafood options are tasty, too. 601 E. Havens Avenue, Mitchell.
10. Tally's Silver Spoon, Rapid City
Tally's Silver Spoon offers some of the best comfort food you'll ever sink your teeth into. This place is legendary for its breakfast and its burgers. 530 6th Street, Rapid City.
