South Dakota Is Home To A Stomach-Dropping Canopy Adventure Walk

Fortunately for us, there is plenty of excitement to go around here in the Mount Rushmore State, including beautiful hikes, world-class sightseeing, and stomach-dropping canopy walks! What? Didn’t you know that South Dakota has its own canopy walk? Then you are going to love the epic Rushmore Tramway Adventures Aerial Adventure Park:

Located in Keystone, Rushmore Tramway Adventures is billed as being one of the area's most popular attractions, thanks to its many acres of rides and activities.

Opened as the Rushmore Aerial Tramway in 1965, Rushmore Tramway Adventures has grown leaps and bounds in the last 50+ years, transitioning from gondola rides to giant slides, tubing hills, and much more!

In addition to their mountainside rides, Rushmore Tramway Adventures is also home to the aforementioned Aerial Adventure Park, which spreads across two acres and includes everything from zip-lines to balancing ropes to a jaw-dropping canopy walk.

Please note: Participants of the Aerial Adventure Park must be between 50 to 250 pounds and must wear closed-toe shoes.

Admission to the Rushmore Tramway Adventures Aerial Adventure Park costs $39 for children and $49 for adults and includes a 90-minute self-paced tour and 15-minute training.
