There’s A Restaurant In This 120-Year-Old Stable In South Carolina And You’ll Want To Visit
It’s not difficult to find a delicious meal in Aiken, South Carolina. But if you want that meal in a truly unique setting, then you’ll want to head to The Stables Restaurant at Rose Hill in downtown Aiken. Rose Hill was built in 1898 as a winter home for the Phelps family. Eventually, the home would change hands a number of times before the entire property of four houses and eight outbuildings (including a stable) would be transformed into hospitality themed uses, including The Stables Restaurant built into the converted horse stables at Rose Hill.
