What used to be Citizens Bank on East Main Street in downtown Rock Hill is now a French bakery and café called Amélie’s. The building is over 80 years old, has five stories, and underwent major renovations after it was purchased from the city in 2005 totaling $1 million. Amélie’s occupies the first and second floors of the building, and perhaps one of the coolest, most unique features of this Rock Hill bakery is its use of the large vault that was preserved.
