The city of North Charleston has been busy in recent years with a massive revitalization effort to reshape and improve areas that had been rapidly deteriorating, an endeavor that has resulted in both national and global recognition. We recently featured what became the incredible world’s largest inclusive playground that was a part of the $20 million Park Circle redevelopment project. That playground opened on November 11, 2023. Almost exactly one year prior, on November 9, 2022, another amazing attraction in North Charleston opened, the Noisette Creek Pedestrian Bridge, also known as the Battery Park Pedestrian Bridge. And before it was even completed, in August 2022 it was included in a best in the world attractions list by Architectural Digest, the 11 Most Beautiful Elevated Walkways Through Nature.
