The Best Strawberry Pie In The World Is Located At This South Carolina Farm Market
Living in a state whose top industry is agriculture certainly has its benefits, such as plenty of places to eat where the freshest ingredients are used. And of course, this means the most delicious dishes … and desserts! Which is what you will find at the McArthur Farms Market – and the world’s best strawberry pie!
McArthur Farms is located in the town of Bennettsville, designated as South Carolina’s first “G.R.E.A.T. town,” with the acronym “G.R.E.A.T.” an abbreviation for Governor's Rural Economic Achievement Trophy, due to the area having become one of the richest agricultural areas of the state.
Each season of the year brings a different harvest at the farm, and during the spring the star of the show is its famous super sweet strawberries. It's even been affectionately suggested that perhaps sugar as fertilizer is the secret!
McArthur Farms has a bakery and sweet shop with all kinds of goodies available, including strawberry dreamwhip pie. And naturally, when you’re using the freshest, super sweet strawberries … you’re going to notice a difference. If you decide to share the pie at a gathering, be prepared to not have any left!
Its fun park features the largest corn maze in both eastern South Carolina and North Carolina, 12 acres of amusement for all ages in the fall with a different design each year.
There’s so much to experience at McArthur Farms. It’s a great place for a family outing or field trip! Visit the McArthur Farms website and the McArthur Farms Facebook page for much more information and details on all that’s available in differing seasons and for updates.

South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
