The worst drivers in the United States are in Utah, followed by California, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio. North Dakota, Virginia, Arizona, Hawaii, and Rhode Island round out the top 10.

On the flip side, Rhode Island’s next door neighbor, Connecticut, snagged the honor of having the best drivers in the United States. Three other New England states made the best drivers list.

Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Arkansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, and Maine also made the top 10.
Connecticut drivers also had the fewest citations and DUIs while taking the second spot for the fewest speeding tickets. Massachusetts grabbed the top spot.
