Rhode Island might have far fewer towns to visit than other states, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in wonder. Each city, town, and village found across Little Rhody offers something unique. In 2016 we featured quite a few of these places for different reasons. For convenience, we’ve put them all together so you’ll know exactly where to spend your days off in 2017.

Everything from stunning beaches, amazing restaurants, beautiful theaters, museums that are out of this world, and so much more are found in this charming town on Aquidneck Island. Tour colonial homes and gilded age mansions, hike along the Atlantic Ocean, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
This gorgeous paradise should not be missed in 2017 for obvious reasons! Comprising the island of Block Island there are so many amazing things to do. From exploring the nature refuge, to visiting the two historic lighthouses, and enjoying fantastic restaurants, there are so many wonderful things to enjoy.
Little Compton is a small town found in Newport County with big offerings. An independently owned vineyard, farms, and consignment shops are all charming spots to visit in this charming coastal town. Sakonnet River is yet another lovely site to take in on the edges of the town.
Pawtuxet Village, which means "little falls," is not only charming and unique, it also offers amazing shopping and restaurants. Everything from delicious coffee and ice cream, to crepes and more are found here!
Beautiful and scenic Wickford Village was established in 1709 and is found in the town of North Kingstown. Historic architecture, great vintage shops, amazing restaurants, and more make this a wonderful place to visit in the state.
From amazing hiking trails, eerie abandoned military forts, and seafood to die for, Jamestown is a small town with many charms. Surrounded by water and equipped with its very own state park with an active lighthouse, this is a small town with sites to see.
The small fishing village of Galilee is found in the town of Narragansett. It's a quant New England town with amazing seafood restaurants, beaches, and other coastal attractions that is almost too charming to visit in nice weather months.
Located on the northern tip of the state bordering Massachusetts, Burrillville is a wonderful town with attractions ranging from the town center, charming small restaurants, and great nature sites. It's also home to Wright's Farm Restaurant, a popular Rhody eatery.
The capital city of Rhode Island is an obvious place to visit in state in 2017. From amazing festivals happening throughout the year, some of the best restaurants in state, and hundreds of other attractions, this place simply shouldn't be missed.
