One Of The Most Beautiful Restaurants In America, The Clarke Cooke House, Is Right Here In Rhode Island
Clarke Cooke House in Newport is renowned for its historic charm, sophisticated ambiance, and exceptional seafood cuisine.
While a beautiful setting isn't exactly a requirement for restaurant dining, it certainly doesn't hurt. For example, the Clarke Cooke House has been called, among many other things, the most sophisticated restaurant in Newport and one of the top 10 outdoor dining spots in America. And while we don't dispute any of those claims, it's the mouthwatering cuisine that keeps people coming back for more.
The Clarke Cooke House opened in Newport as a restaurant decades ago, but the building's history goes back much further.

The property has been remodeled and restructured, but it still looks like a historic gem.
