The entire coast of Rhode Island is unlike anywhere else in the world. This is unsurprising when considering how many tourists take full advantage of our gorgeous coastal offerings each year. While each state beach is certainly worth visiting, some stand out for special reasons. This one beach in Newport is a perfect example.
Easton's Beach is found at the start of the Newport Cliff Walk on Memorial Boulevard. This 3 quarters of a mile stretch of pristine sand and blue waters is a perfect spot to visit on nice days.
Though Aquidneck Island offers many fantastic beaches to choose from, Easton's Beach is uniquely fantastic. Not only is it Newport's largest public ocean surf beach, it also offers many amenities.
The beautiful boardwalk is equipped with restrooms, indoor, and outdoor showers and so much more. There's even a rental shop, Rosie's Beach Store, where you can rent important things like umbrellas, beach chairs, and boogie boards to add a little luxury to your beach day without the hassle.
It's no surprise that this beach is such a popular choice in state in the summer months. The Rotunda Ballroom located here is also a perfect space to rent for weddings and other private events.
