The Firehouse Inn in Newport is a historic, converted firehouse offering luxurious accommodations for family reunions or getaways.

Are you in need of a change of scenery? We thought so. It won't be long before we're exploring our beautiful state once again, enjoying it to the fullest. There's even a converted firehouse in Newport that is now a 6-bedroom home you can rent for a small family reunion or a much-needed getaway with your friends. Not only is it steps away from some of the city's top restaurants and attractions, but the property itself is amazing.

The Firehouse Inn is a vacation rental property located on Thames Street in the heart of historic Newport.

The structure is solid and regal, standing out in the charming neighborhood.

This Queen-Anne style structure was originally built in 1888 and served as Newport Fire Department's Hose Co. 6 for years.

More recently, this was the location of Firehouse Pizza until 2012. And in 2016, it was purchased and converted into the beautiful guesthouse it is today.

The first floor features a common area and a gourmet kitchen perfect for storing snacks and drinks.

The lounge area has plenty of seating for everyone. This house can host 12 guests comfortably, so that's saying a lot.

The Firehouse has six bedrooms, one of which is a giant studio with its own private entrance and a kitchenette.

It's perfect for those who might need a little vacation from their vacation.

Each guest room is cozy and comfortable, and they all have their own private bathrooms...

...and these are luxurious, spa-like bathrooms.

They're also stocked with amenities like soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

While you're more than welcome to cook while you're at The Firehouse Inn, you can also order breakfast locally.

Stoneacre, a local restaurant, will deliver breakfast or lunch to your doorstep with advance notice. Just call 401-619-7810 24 hours ahead of time and order your meal. You can also arrange for spa services at The Firehouse during your stay, so it's safe to assume you won't want to leave this magical place.

The Firehouse is currently accepting reservations for future vacations. For current promotions and specials, check out the website.
