This One Destination Has The Absolute Bluest Water In Rhode Island
It isn’t hard to imagine that the Ocean State would be filled with amazing coastline offering views of the deep blue sea. While there are dozens of fantastic beaches found in Rhode Island, each one offers something different. This beach found in Newport is a particularly picture perfect location with some of the bluest water in Rhode Island.
Easton's Beach is found at the start of the Newport Cliff Walk on Memorial Boulevard. This 3 quarters of a mile stretch of pristine sand and blue waters is a perfect spot to visit on nice days.
Though Aquidneck Island offers many fantastic beaches to choose from, Easton's Beach is uniquely fantastic. Not only is it Newport's largest public ocean surf beach, it also offers many amenities.
The beautiful boardwalk is equipped with restrooms, indoor, and outdoor showers and so much more. There's even a rental shop, Rosie's Beach Store, where you can rent important things like umbrellas, beach chairs, and boogie boards to add a little luxury to your beach day without the hassle.
Easton's Beach Snack Bar is also found on the boardwalk and, among other items, serves one of the best lobster rolls in the entire state.
If the magical blue waters and convenient amenities still aren't enough to convince you to visit this place, there's even a historic carousel, picnic and grill area, and a small skate park.
It's no surprise that this beach is such a popular choice in state in the summer months. The Rotunda Ballroom located here is also a perfect space to rent for weddings and other private events.
