New Englanders need to take full advantage of the warm weather while it’s around and plan out their awesome sun-filled adventures in advance. Here are all the places to visit in Providence while it’s warm out!

PVDFest kicks off the first week of June and offers everything from live music and art displays, to so much more! Find events scattered throughout the entire city.

Watching the river come ablaze with dozens of fires is a spectacular and unique sight! Match that with eclectic music and food truck bliss and you have a perfect Providence night. Find it along the river throughout downtown!

Found at 1000 Elmwood Avenue, this sprawling zoo and park is often considered Rhode Island's most beloved attraction. The park offers boat rides, a carousel, fields, picnic tables, and so much more while the zoo offers fantastic exhibits and tons of fun.

This Peruvian style restaurant is everything you need in the summer. Not only is the food fantastic and at great prices, the outdoor patio is definitely among the most impressive in state. Enjoy fantastic cocktails and great food in a cozy outdoor atmosphere (or dine inside if you prefer) at 903 Chalkstone.

One of the best things about Providence is the lovely view of the city with the river running through it. Providence River Walk at Water Place Park is the perfect downtown stroll to appreciate the unique charm of our small state's big capital. Find it along Memorial Boulevard.

While you're by the river consider taking a gondola, or boat tour! There are several boating companies set up along the River Walk which offer perfectly romantic (or just fun without the romance) tours.

Let's face it. Summer isn't summer without ice cream and Providence is blessed with Three Sisters! This handmade ice cream shop is found at 1074 Hope Street and always has amazing flavors.

Found on Gano Street is India Point Park. This lovely park offers one of the most spectacular views of the city with beautiful fields, and a nice walking path to stroll along and relax.

The Rooftop at the Providence G is a perfect restaurant for outside dining to take in views that are simply out of this world and breathe in the city. Find it at 100 Dorrance Street.

For one more perfect place with fantastic city views, hike up Neutaconkanut Hill at 675 Plainfield Street! Enjoy numerous forested hiking trails while there.
