Yesterday we brought you a list of the poorest counties in Pennsylvania, so it only made sense to look at the opposite end of the spectrum today. These are the counties in our state where residents make the highest per capita income; the top ten of which are higher than the average per capita income of the entire country.
The data comes from 2010 United States Census Data and the 2006-2010 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures!
