Tucked along the South Side's Carson Street, Le Petit Chocolat beckons chocoholics with its selection of gourmet chocolate and cupcakes.
So, take a deep breath - and breathe in the sweet aroma of chocolate - when you walk into this tiny bakery that's a family affair.
The quaint bakery, the perfect spot for a delicious treat, was founded and is run by Pittsburgh-native Amanda Sougouna and her husband Ibrehim.
Together, the duo create a rich assortment of gourmet chocolate. Even better? All of the bakery's chocolate is gluten-free except for the cookie truffle crisp.
Of course, you'll want to stock up on some of the scrumptious gourmet chocolate during your visit, right? How about dark chocolate, sea salt caramel, or coconut pineapple lime?
And, you'll definitely want to try a cupcake or two from the assortment of mouthwatering flavors, such as the double chocolate mousse, the strawberry shortcake, and the caramel apple.
Or, how about celebrating a special occasion or adding a bit of flare to an ordinary day with a private chocolate dipping and/or cupcake frosting party?
Stop by Le Petit Chocolat Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
