Now, you can embark on a ghost hunt for Mary Virginia and others at this former psychiatric hospital near Pittsburgh.
Hill View Manor saw its fair share of death during its 78-year history (1926-2004). In fact, some residents committed suicide while approximately 100 "inmates" who died in the hospital were buried on its grounds.
Throughout its history, Hill View Manor transitioned from a home for the mentally ill to a nursing home. Still, rife with problems, it permanently shut in 2004.
